Ja's got a new job

A Ja Update:

Ja took a new, short-term job. He is going to tutor 7th graders, starting here Wednesday, the 26th. The school is a public "private-like" school in inner city KC. The kids wear uniforms and follow very strict rules. From what I understand, Ja will be working in the 7th grade room (there's only one), helping prepare the kids for the MAP test... which is in April. After that, he will be done. What comes after that, we do not know! Only time will tell. I don't know a whole lot about the job, so we'll keep you posted after he's been there a few days. -em

Making It Official

Well, it's all becoming official. The Save The Date Newsletter has gone out to all invites... which actually had quite an impact on my view of this wedding. It really re-enforced the reality of what this spring will bring. I am excited, anxious, and nervous. But it feels good and it feels right. Lots of things are happening. People are talking. Showers are being planned.... a variety of details are continuously being debated and finalized around the wedding. It's fun, yet overwhelming at the same time.

If you are visiting this blog due to the newsletter, Welcome!! Ja and I will try to post more often, keeping everyone updated on the latest happenings. Let me see, the latest component of the wedding is the selection of our musician for the ceremony. We have selected a talented friend from Pittsburg, KS.
